How Supermarkets Are Stopping Turkey Thieves

Thousands of turkeys are stolen from supermarkets every year ahead of Thanksgiving. Turkey heists happen four times more often in November and December than the rest of the year combined. One video shows cashiers slipping a turkey past the scanner without actually scanning the bar code before giving it away to their friends. New technology aims to stop the turkey thieves as it can detect when the cashier fails to scan items.
