How The Ancient Craft of Venetian Glassmaking Is Becoming More Inclusive

Artists have been making Venetian glass on the island of Murano since the 8th century. Throughout history, the beautiful works were traded and sold all over the world, from neighboring European countries, to as far as Asia and the Middle East. But in recent years, the ancient profession has been declining, and fewer people are working on the small island. Now one school is trying to change the industry, and is encouraging women to become glassmakers.
