In the late 19th century, Polish scientist Marie Curie and American dancer Loie Fuller came to Paris as outsiders. They each became pioneers in their own fields, in part through their embrace of technology. “For Loie and Marie, it brought them wonderful things. It allowed them to be creative,” author Liz Heinecke told Inside Edition Digital. Curie and Fuller are the subjects of Heinecke’s new book, “Radiant: The Dancer, The Scientist, and a Friendship Forged in Light.”
