This Is How Tight Security Is for Paul Newman’s Watch up for Auction

The Rolex once worn by actor Paul Newman is up for auction. Paul Boutros of Phillips Auction House  said that the "Newman" watch is the most sought after among collectors. The watch was a gift from Newman’s wife, Joanne Woodward. She gave it to him in 1968 when they filmed the movie ‘Winning,’ in which he played a race car driver. According to reports, the watch was purchased for just $200. The inscription on the back reads: “Drive Carefully Me." Newman died in 2008 and many wondered what happened to watch.
