‘I-65 Killer’ Identified as Harry Edward Greenwell in Indiana Cold Case Investigation

A serial killer known as the I-65 Killer has finally been identified. Indiana State Police say Harry Edward Greenwell was the person who killed at least three women along interstate 65 in the late 1980s. Police used investigative genealogy to ID Greenwell, based on evidence left at the crime scenes. Sgt. Glen Fifield of the Indiana State Police announced at a press conference that “the match was 99.9999% positive.” Greenwell died in 2013.
