Fox’s “Rent: Live” became the talk of social media Sunday but not for reasons it wanted. The live broadcast actually wasn’t so live, after a lead actor broke his foot during a dress rehearsal. With no understudy, the producers opted for the pre-recorded dress rehearsal footage that was never intended to air. However, the broadcast did go live for the big "Seasons of Love" finale with members of the original 1996 Broadway cast, including Idina Menzel.
