Inside a Las Vegas Hotel and Casino as It Prepares to Reopen

Las Vegas has an economy largely based on tourism, hospitality, dining and of course, gambling. The city’s mayor has been outspoken about wanting to reopen her city, despite the close quarters and recirculated air in casinos. But now Vegas is getting ready to reopen, with new safety restrictions to protect against the spread of the coronavirus. We went inside the Strat Las Vegas, a hotel and casino preparing to reopen, and spoke with their Vice President and General Manager Stephen Thayer.
