Inside Edition’s Mary Calvi Releases New Book 'If a Poem Could Live and Breathe'

Inside Edition's Mary Calvi unearthed long-lost love letters that were exchanged by Teddy Roosevelt before he became president, and his little-known first love, Alice Lee. For decades, many historians thought all but a few of the letters had been destroyed. However, Calvi discovered them buried in archives at Harvard University. The letters form the basis for Calvi’s latest historical fiction book, "If a Poem Could Live and Breathe: A Novel of Teddy Roosevelt's First Love."
