Humans Imitate Seagulls for Top Honor

Few beachgoers who have had their chips or ice cream stolen by a seagull— or have been on the receiving end of their droppings— would have any sympathy for the noisy birds. The Belgian coastal town of De Panne is looking to change their reputation. De Panne staged a seagull imitating contest, partly in an attempt at changing the image of what many regard as pests.
