Were the Golden Globes a Superspreader Event?

Many are wondering if the Golden Globes was a COVID-19 superspreader after some celebrities did not show up to the Critics' Choice Awards. Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Pfeiffer, who was supposed to present Jeff Bridges with the Lifetime Achievement Award, were forced to skip the awards ceremony after testing positive for COVID-19. Both Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson also caught COVID-19 after attending the Golden Globes.
