It might not seem like an appropriate time for a concert, but a patient actually helped doctors by playing his guitar during brain surgery. Musa Manzini is a jazz musician in South Africa. When doctors discovered a brain tumor, they opted to keep him awake for the six-hour procedure. They also gave him a guitar so they could see which parts of the brain he uses to play.
