Jennifer Siebel Newsom Takes Stand at Harvey Weinstein’s Sexual Assault Trial

California's first lady, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, delivered a tearful testimony against Harvey Weinstein during his Los Angeles sexual assault trial. Newsom testified she agreed to meet Weinstein in his suite at the Peninsula Hotel in 2005. It was to talk about a film project when she was a struggling actress. Newsom says he excused himself and returned with just a robe on. She claims he then carried or pushed her onto the bed and raped her.
