Jeremiah and Justin Raisen Seek Credit for Helping Write Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts”

A songwriting dispute has emerged over a line from Lizzo’s hit song, “Truth Hurts.” Lizzo claimed she was inspired by a meme to write a memorable line in the song. A woman in London says she wrote the line in a tweet from February 2017. And now two brothers say they are the ones who found the line and brought it to Lizzo for a different song that was never released. Inside Edition caught up with Jeremiah Raisen and his brother Justin, who say they want the credit they say they’ve earned.
