Kitten Rescued in South Carolina After Being Trapped in Well for 5 Days

June 18, 2018

A kitten has been rescued after the feline was trapped 44 feet underground in a cold well for five days. Eldad Hagar and Loreta Frankoye of animal rescue group Hope for Paws hopped on a red-eye flight and traveled 2,100 miles from Los Angeles to South Carolina to save the tiny kitten. The animal's meows of distress were heard by local resident Kimberly Cockrell, who initially tried to save the kitten herself.
