Lava Continues to Spew From the Ground as Hawaii Volcano Forces Evacuations

Lava from the Kilauea volcano continues to shoot up through the ground in Hawaii. The eruptions have already destroyed five homes and caused local officials to order the evacuation of 1,700 people on the Big Island. Earthquakes have also rocked the area. Officials issued warnings about high levels of sulfur dioxide, which could cause sore throats, burning eyes and irritation.
