January 5, 2021
Through a stroke of luck, a man unexpectedly got the COVID-19 vaccine at the grocery store. When 31-year-old law student David Macmillan went into a Washington D.C. grocery store with a friend, they were given an offer from a pharmacist that they could not refuse. They were told the pharmacist had two doses of the Moderna vaccine that were about to expire, and the store was closing in 10 minutes. The pair jumped at the opportunity to get the vaccine that millions of Americans are waiting for.
