Will Convicted Murderer Scott Peterson Receive a New Trial?

The lawyers of convicted murderer Scott Peterson are claiming jury misconduct led to his conviction for the 2002 murder of his pregnant wife, Laci, and their unborn child. During his trial, Richelle Nice played a role in putting Peterson behind bars. She later became pen pals with him. In one of those letters, Peterson says Nice claimed she had once been beaten by a boyfriend while pregnant. His attorney says she failed to disclose this before the trial and claims she had bias within the case.
