LeBron James on Why He Removed His Tweet Tied to Shooting of 16-Year-Old Girl

LeBron James is coming under fire for his tweet about the police shooting of a teenager in Ohio. The basketball great posted a photo of the officer who opened fire on Ma’Khia Bryant, with the caption “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” He says he later took it down because it was being used to generate hate, but remains outraged over the killing. Bryant was fatally shot after she attempted to cut two females with a knife, according to officials and body camera footage shown to the media.
