Los Angeles City Officials Suggest Housing Homeless on Skid Row in Luxury Hotels

The homeless in Los Angeles may soon find themselves living in luxury if some Los Angeles officials have it their way. The infamous “Skid Row” in downtown Los Angeles is where hundreds of homeless people stay in makeshift shelters and tents. But just 7 blocks away, two luxury hotels are sitting empty, and city officials say those rooms could be put to much better use. So could hundreds of homeless people be moving into the Ritz Carlton and the JW Marriott in the coming weeks?
