Ex-College Soccer Player Accused of Murdering His Brother

A 31-year-old man is accused of murdering his own brother and mutilating his body. Matthew Hertgen appeared in court in Princeton, New Jersey, via Zoom. Police found the body of his 26-year-old brother inside their wealthy parents' apartment. Cops described the crime scene as "gruesome." Police also  say Hertgen beat his younger brother with a golf club and stabbed him to death. He is also alleged to have gouged out his eyes and killed the family cat.
