When Jed Mottley was a star player on his high school football team in 1993, his single mom could not afford the varsity jacket that he ordered, which ran about $300. Jed never was able to pick it up at the clothing store. Twenty-eight years later, Jed’s brother Josh was shocked when he stumbled upon the jacket in a thrift store, where it had been donated by the business owner who made them for the school. They believe it’s a message from their mom, who died nine years ago.
