Man Posed As Pilot To Score Free Flights, Police Say

Police say 33-year-old Dallas Pokornik is a real-life "Catch Me If You Can" scammer, posing as a pilot to score free flights. His only professional aviation experience, according to US authorities, is that he used to be a flight attendant. Pokornik allegedly traveled the world in his pose as a pilot. Prosecutors say as a fake pilot, Pokornik obtained hundreds of free flights over the course of four years. Pokornik is facing federal wire fraud charges. He has pleaded not guilty.
