Mass Closures and Panic Shopping Shows Reach of Coronavirus Pandemic

Millions of lives are being turned upside down today as America hunkers down and prepares to face the spreading coronavirus. Supermarkets are selling out of products as fast as they can stock them, especially toilet paper and frozen and non-perishable food. Meanwhile, tourists arriving in New York who hoped to see plays arrived to find that Broadway theaters have been shut down in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the virus.
