McDonald’s Flips Golden Arches Upside Down for International Women’s Day
March 8, 2018
As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, even corporations are getting in the spirit. A McDonald’s in Lynwood, Calif., flipped its iconic golden arches, turning the “M” into a “W” in honor of the women of the world. At 100 of their 14,000 restaurants around the country, uniforms, packaging and social media handles made the temporary flip. "For the first time in our brand history, we flipped our iconic arches," said McDonald's Chief Diversity Officer Wendy Lewis.
