Meet Boy Allergic to the Sun

April 12, 2018

Oliver Kei is allergic to the sun. The boy was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called xeroderma pigmentosum when he was 18 months old. As a result, Oliver wears a thick plastic visor and gloves when he goes outside in the sun. Without them, Oliver's skin will tan and freckle, which may turn into skin cancer. The family car and home are fitted with UV-protective film and the lightbulbs in his classroom at school are covered. InsideEdition.com's Keleigh Nealon (http://twitter.com/KeleighNealon) has more.
