Meet the Everyday Heroes Who Saved the Lives of Others

In the early 1990s, FDNY member Terry Farrell saved the life of 5-year-old Chantyl Peterson. The little girl from Nevada had been was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma, a terminal disease. Farrell donated his bone marrow to the girl, who was able to go on to live a healthy life. The firefighter lost his life on 9/11, but his legacy has lived on. Farrell is one of the many everyday heroes who saved the lives of others.
