Future generations will no longer be “Toys 'R’ Us kids,” as the retail giant announces plans to shut down all of its U.S. stores after filing for bankruptcy. Now meet the woman who wrote the iconic jingle for the toy store. Linda Kaplan Thaler wrote the catchy tune with none other than best-selling crime writer James Patterson back in 1982. He was her boss at an ad agency. She showed Inside Edition the original sheet music.
