As the whole world watched the royal wedding, the father of the bride sat all alone in an Airbnb rental. Thomas Markle, 73, followed every moment of the ceremony on a TV in a reported $30-a-night apartment in Tijuana, Mexico, all by himself. It was a bittersweet moment for Markle, who for the rest of his life may regret missing the chance to walk his daughter down the aisle. He reportedly told the woman who rented the apartment, "my daughter looked beautiful."
