Meghan McCain to Leave ‘The View’ 2 Years Before Contract’s End

Meghan McCain’s tumultuous time at “The View” is coming to an end. The 36-year-old new mom still had two years left on her contract, but attributed the departure to the pandemic. She said she wanted to focus on raising her daughter, a baby girl named Liberty. She has famously butted heads with the co-hosts on the daytime talk show, especially Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. But when Meghan made her announcement, it was all love on the show. “You were a formidable opponent,” said Behar.
