Memphis Police Release Tyre Nichols Bodycam Footage

CONTENT WARNING: On Friday evening, January 27, Tennessee's Memphis Police Department released officer bodycam footage of the January 7 traffic stop that allegedly resulted in the death of 29-year-old Black motorist Tyre Nichols. Nichols died three days after Memphis police officers allegedly beat him during the traffic stop. The beating was described as "acts that defy humanity" and lasted for an hour.
