Memphis Rapper LePreston Porter, Known as Snootie Wild, Dead at 36

Just months after fellow Memphis native and rapper Young Dolph was shot dead in his hometown, Snootie Wild, whose real name was LePreston Porter III, was shot Friday in Houston, Texas. Porter was reportedly found beside an SUV near a ditch. Some confusion surrounded the rapper’s death on social media, where rumors started flying that he was gone before he passed. Investigators are still reportedly looking for suspects in the case.
