Michigan Homecoming King Dies by Suicide After Online ‘Sextortion’ Plot

Jordan Demay was a handsome, popular high school athlete and homecoming king. But now the community of Marquette, Michigan, is mourning the teen’s death. Jordan died by suicide after becoming the victim on an online ‘sextortion’ plot. Sheriff Greg Zybert said, “This is one of those cases I'll remember for the rest of my life." His tragic story is eerily similar to what happened to 15-year-old Riley Basford in 2021.
