Michigan Shooting Suspect’s Parents MIA After Involuntary Manslaughter Charges

December 3, 2021

The parents of accused shooter Ethan Crumbley are MIA after being charged with involuntary manslaughter, after prosecutors learned the parents knew the 15-year-old had access to a gun. The county prosecutor says the parents were called to the school after a teacher found a note on Ethan’s desk: a drawing of a gun and the words, “The thoughts won’t stop. Help me. Blood everywhere. My life is useless and the world is dead.” During the meeting at school, prosecutors say Ethan had his gun in his bag.
