    Devastating Floods Hit Southern California

    Almost 34 million people are under flood watch thanks to a stubborn storm system over California. Residents living in Montecito were ordered to evacuate immediately. The only freeway in and out of Montecito is shut down for nearly 25 miles after floodwater overtook the road, leaving behind mud and debris. In Los Angeles, two vehicles were swallowed up by a giant sinkhole. Also, 5-year-old Kyle Doan was swept away by the floodwaters as his mother drove him to school.
