A miner who was trapped for more than 48 hours after falling down an Arizona shaft is sharing the details of his ordeal. John Waddell, 60, has more than 15 years of mining experience and says he rigged himself up properly to go into the 100-foot deep shaft. But halfway down his rigging broke and he plunged to the bottom. He broke his leg but he grew more worried when he realized he was trapped with rattlesnakes.
