Missing California Hikers Rationed Food, Water for More Than 4 Days

Eric Desplinter, 33, and Gabrielle Wallace, 31, were hiking in California's San Gabriel Mountains Saturday morning when they lost the trail. When the pair didn't come home Saturday night, a friend contacted authorities, who launched a massive search. Snow in the area could be as deep as 4 feet in some places, authorities said, and the two had limited warm clothing, food and water. But on Wednesday night, they were found alive and in good health by rescuers.
