Missouri Police Respond to Social Media Video of Arrest by Releasing Bodycam Video

Police in Missouri are sharing body camera video after bystander video of an arrest was widely shared on social media. The Cape Girardeau Police Department says an officer responded to a call about a theft at a convenience store. According to authorities, the suspect resisted arrest. Cape Girardeau Police wrote on Facebook, “The officer delivered a combination of blows” to the suspect’s face and grabbed his arm “to try and place handcuffs on him.”
