Mom Who Gave Birth in Medically Induced Coma Meets Her Baby After 75 Days

A Wisconsin woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 while pregnant, spent 75 days on life support and delivered her baby while in a coma on Nov. 4, finally got to meet her daughter nearly three months after her birth. Kelsey Townsend, 32, was nine months pregnant when she was diagnosed with COVID-19 in October. Her doctors once said she would need a double lung transplant to survive, but soon after, Kelsey began to make remarkable progress. The "miracle mom" is now recovering at home with her family.
