Monkeypox Vaccine Appointments Are Hard to Find in New York City

Concerns are growing after some people say they’re having a hard time getting the monkeypox vaccine, Some say they can’t seem to find appointments in New York City after doses became available recently. It’s not clear how many people have been exposed to monkeypox. According to the CDC, the virus can spread from person-to-person through direct contact with the infectious rash, scabs, or body fluids, and through prolonged face-to-face and intimate physical contact.
