Mountain Lion Cub Gets Treated for Burns After Being Saved From Wildfire

This little cub is lucky to be alive. Firefighters found the orphaned mountain lion cub while fighting the Zogg Fire in Northern California. He was brought to the Oakland Veterinary Hospital where veterinarians from the Oakland Zoo are treating him for severe burns. His whiskers were completely singed off and his eyes were irritated from the smoke. They estimate the cub is about six weeks old, but his caretakers say he seems like a fighter.
