Museum Offers $10 Million for Return of Art Stolen 27 Years Ago

A hot tip in 27-year-old art heist case could earn someone a $10 million reward in the next three days. “This is an enormous reward from a private institution. It speaks volumes on how committed we are to getting this art back,” said Anthony Amore, the director of security at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.  In 1990, thieves made off with some of the world's most precious paintings, including "The Concert" by Vermeer, which is valued at $300 million.
