NBC's Mike Tirico Had Medical Emergency on Air

NBC Sports' Mike Tirico suffered a medical emergency that played out during the Kentucky Derby. Tirico has a severe nut allergy, and had a reaction live on air. He appeared on The TODAY Show Monday to explain what happened. He said he ate something that had a nut in it. He took an epipen shot and was treated by EMTs. Also in attendance at the derby was Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of Anna Nicole Smith. Smith died 18 years ago from an accidental drug overdose.
