New 3D Digital Scans of Titanic Give New View of Famous Wreckage

A new digital map of the Titanic is giving people a never-before-seen view of what is perhaps the world’s most famous shipwreck. It took more than 200 hours and over 700,000 images of the sunken luxury liner to create a 3D digital map of the wreckage. They were created in 2022 by Magellan and Atlantic Productions for an upcoming documentary. Researchers hope these scans will help them uncover exactly what happened to the ship that never completed its maiden voyage.
