New Jersey 3-Year-Old in Stolen Hyundai Sonata Returned Home Safely

A 3-year-old boy is safe at home after the car he was in was stolen. An Amber alert went out at 9:55 a.m. in Newark, New Jersey, almost two hours after a Hyundai Sonata was taken. Inside the vehicle was an unnamed toddler. The child’s father said he’d quickly run inside his place of work to pick something up, leaving the child unattended. About 10 miles away, in Jersey City, the Hyundai was spotted. Authorities say it had been abandoned with the boy inside.
