College Student Survives Kidnapping at Knifepoint by Boyfriend

Kidnapped at knifepoint. Punched in the face and made to fear for her life. Those were the things 21-year-old Alexis Ruhlen had to endure in her toxic relationship. The New Jersey resident says she and her ex-boyfriend met on an app when she was a senior in high school. The honeymoon period didn't last long. About a year into their relationship, Alexis says verbal manipulation turned into physical violence.
