New K9 on the Job Helps Find Missing Man in Cornfield

An 86-year-old man with dementia and lost in a cornfield was rescued thanks to a K9. Djanga is a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois recently hired by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. “It was a little bit of a learning curve for our k9 handler. He was able to manage it and learned some things along the way. But the dog performed perfectly,” said Boone County Sheriff, Andrew Godzicki, to KCCI.
