New York City Welcomes the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
November 16, 2021
A glistening signal that the holiday season is here stands tall in New York City’s Rockefeller Center. Each year a tree is plucked from a different state around the country and brought to the center of Manhattan. It will be adorned with 50,000 lights topped with a 900-pound star that has 70 spikes covered in 3 million crystals. “We just stood it up and it looks absolutely gorgeous," said Erik Pauze, Head Gardener at Rockefeller Center.
