Will Pickpocket Steal ‘Bait’ Wallet From Backpack?

In the big apple, the NYPD has deployed a special task force of plainclothes police to try and catch thieves red-handed. Along the pop-up shops and around the skating rink at Bryant Park, cops say a pair of professional pick-pocketers struck 18 times in a three-week period. To test how bad the pickpocket problem is, an Inside Edition producer stood around the Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center with a wallet slightly protruding from his backpack to see if a thief takes the bait.
