Republican George Santos Admits to Lying on His Resume

Newly-elected New York Republican congressman George Santos is admitting that he lied on his resume but says he will not resign. Last month, he spoke to the Republican Jewish Coalition, repeating claims his family fled the Holocaust. But published reports say his grandparents were born in Brazil before the Holocaust. Santos also claimed he was a Wall Street whizz kid at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. However, The New York Times says he was never employed at either corporation.
