    New York State Trooper Rescues Owl Possibly Hit By A Car

    A barred owl is getting intense rehabilitation after it was found on a New York highway. Rick Leganhausen, a New York state trooper for Broome County, first spotted the injured animal and called All Creatures Great and Small Wildlife Rehabilitation. He stayed by the owl's side until they arrived. The small but feisty owl, named "Owlberto," is now getting fluids, pain meds, and much-needed rest. Inside Edition Digital's Andrea Swindall has more.
